This exciting urban design project will give the existing 14-storey tower block, a revolutionary facelift. Working in conjunction with Stephen Marshall Architects and the Breyer Group, Ellis & Moore will be involved in building the Architect’s proposals for a state-of-the art design, formed of a set of lightweight, highly insulated triangular fins (5) on each flank wall.
The scheme encompasses the design and build of a contemporary integrated Community Hall and modern Pre-School Play Centre, in association with Brent Play Association. The existing flats will be completely remodelled with upgraded interior improvements to kitchens, bathrooms, décor and floor finishes in adherence with the Decent Homes Programme and forming to new Lifetime Homes Standards.
