The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years UK based structural engineering design experience, be technically proficient, able to work with initiative and have a high level of independence and excellent communication skills. They will be expected to have input in designs from feasibility through to detailed design stages, attend project meetings in relation to the engineering design and to provide written reports to clients and senior management.

Candidates are expected to be proficient in the use of modern design software, such as Finite Element Modelling, 2D and 3D analysis programs, engineering spreadsheets, and have some experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit, or other drafting packages.

In return we offer a competitive salary with contributory pension, a friendly and supportive working environment in a young vibrant office, and the chance to grow and develop with the role. Ideally, candidates will be members of the ICE or IStructE working towards their Chartered status. We offer training under agreement with the Institution of Civil Engineers to help our engineers achieve chartered status, and our management actively assists in furthering the careers of all our staff.
